hi all,
anyone have this issue and solve it (or any ideas to solve)?
hp4100 mfp, w2k network, not using a print server.
if paper is out & someone sends a job to the printer printer responds back to the cpu that it's out of paper. this is correct. however, when paper tray is filled and user goes to print printer never responds back that it's accepting requests, still replies with paper out. only thing that i've come up with that solves it is to reboot the cpu.
if the cpu did not try to print when the paper was out there is no issue printing.
any ideas?
tia
