I try to print a greeting card. The sftwr does not provide duplex printing so I chose manual feed (tray 1). I inserted the card stock into tray 1 and printed front side. When sftwr requests to reinsert paper and print back side I do so but plain paper feeds from tray 2 and tray 1 in that order so back page always prints on plain paper loaded into tray 2. I have NOT tried loading the page (card stock) into tray 2 as I'm afraid it will 'curl' too much to be an acceptable greeting card.

I have set the 'manual load' via properties in print window

I had similar problems with our 2605dn here. I think it's a driver issue.

I ended up just pulling out the paper from the paper tray.

I know it's not a *great* solution, but it does work. ;-)

Just my 2¢

I would have NEVER thought of that. I figured I would get an 'out of paper' error and that the printer would 'wait' for paper. I'm going to try your 2¢ trick. Thanks so much.
