I have an HP2200 Business Inkjet printer locally attached to a WinNT Workstation 4.0 pc. I cannot get the printer to print in colour from Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4.0 or 5.0.

If I open an image file from Microsoft Word, MSPaint and Powerpoint. The printer will print in colour perfectly.

I open a colour pdf and the pdf will print in black & white.

Any suggestions?

You might need to get PostScript drivers. Check either the Adobe or HP Websites for the proper drivers.

I've had problems with several printers dealing with pdf documents. The are usually large files requiring more onboard memory than is available. I checked out the HP and Lexmark sites and this was what I was told.
