Here is my problem.
I have an HP 2100 TN installed on the network.
The printer is on, I can access it via HP direct from my server and the status is online. I can also ping it so I know it is definatley on the network.
However whenever I or anyone sends a job to the printer it does nothing and the status of the job changes from printing to Printing-status not available. The job does not print, The printer does not respond at all, the go light does not flash and it makes no difference if I press the GO button.
I have printed out a config page and compared to another printer on the network that is fine and can find no differences.
I have done a cold restart, (removing the jetdirect card first) and this also had no effect.
I am at a loss as jet direct seems to say that the printer is fine yet no jobs will print.
The only thing I can do to get rid of the job is to delete it.
When I do cancel I get a messenger service saying that the job finished printing but printing errors occurred. (that being the fact that nothing printed!)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
