Hello, Thanks in advance for any advice on this one...
A client of mine has a 1280 connected to a AXIS Parallel network print server. The server is set for Static IP and the print server is seen on the network. The problem is that the Printer itself isn't seen!
I checked the admin screen of the print server and found that the connection screen was displaying 'no printer connected'. I then have to power down the server and printer. Disconnect everything, re-connect and power back up. There is a pause but eventually when you refresh the admin server screen up pops the HP1280 printer!
This is happening on a daily basis and is becoming extremely annoying. I think it may be the printer 'timing out' as the print server is seen all the time but not the printer.
Could anyone shed anymore light on this or is my original suspicion what could be the problem?
Many Thanks,
Mike
