HP1210 Printing greyscale

Hello,

Is there any other way of printing in greyscale or black only on a hp 1210 multifunction printer other than physically taking out the colour cartridge?. Using WinXp.

Printing grey scale can be deterimed by the application and how you select the end print job.

Example, I have a color in my microsoft word document, but I want to print it greyscale for a draft so I don't waste color.

I would goto: file, then print.. find the properties section of the printer I chose. then click around in the settings until I find black/white, or greyscale printing.

That will tell the printer not to use color, but shades of black & white.
