HP-UX Volume Manager

I using HP-UX 11 I am using LVM to create volume groups
I want to be able to create HFS filesystems on VXFS logical volumes. When I try to create a Logical Volume
/dev/vg02/lv0l1 as a hfs file system I get
write() error in wtfs() at block 1028456 nwfs (hfs) invalid argument. I have tried several alternative methods to no avail.

??? HFS and VXFS are 2 types of filesystems, so you can not have both together.

What is the command you are using?
