I am looking for a tool for HP-UX that is equivalent to the AIX snap command. Essentially something that collects every from an HP system from a support perspective which can be executed remotely via a command-line interface.

I noticed there is something called "cstm". Is this the right tool?

If cstm is the right tool, how would I invoke via the command-line to have it dump everything about the system to a file?

You could use a script called sysinfo by Rich Garrison, Hewlett-Packard. You should be able to find this script on HP's site.

If it is present on your systems, /opt/ignite/bin/print_manifest provides a pretty good summary of your system configuration.
