HP-UX B.11.23 U ia64 1

Hi,

I compiled thie object library (liboBW.a) on a HP-UX B.11.23 U ia64.

I am trying to link it to a machine (B.11.00 U 9000/800), when I got this error.
Can somebody help me?

/usr/ccs/bin/ld: /opt/mms/wvs/Kom/liboBW.a: Not a valid library (invalid magic n
umber). Possibly a 64-bit PA archive library (Mismatched ABI).
*** Error exit code 1

I am not very familiar to the hp-ux names and machinetypes but I'm guessing you moved a library from an Itanium (more or less a x86 architecture) machine to a PA-RISC. This will not work. All executables, libs, bins etc. are "ether or" not "both and"
