HP-UX 11.11 Server - Shutdown 1

Hi all,

we have HP-UX server Model "rp 2470" with OS 11.11. All seems to be OK, but we have problem with shutdown of this server. When i will start the shutdown process, i use always "shutdown -h 0" command. I checked the /etc/inittab and also rc scripts, i didn't find no error.

When i type shutdown command, all aplikations, databases, subsystems are correct stoppt, server isn't more accessible in network, but i can access GSP Mode over CTRL+B on the "System Console". The server hardware is running after shutdown command ..., it is OK?

Can you help me please?

I think GSP is active until you physically switch the power off.

Pete is correct. The GSP is your General Service Processor and will remain active until the machine is physically powered down.
