I am setting up 2 new machines for a client and they need to be able to PCAnywhere to this new machine. They currently have a few USB modems that came from the HP BRIO 410A machines that I am replacing. However I cannot get a remote computer to connect to it with this configuration.
I have got "the latest drivers" for this modem running under 2000 but all the remote machine gets is a black screen with flashing cursor. Have tried all the standard fixes (screen resolution etc.) but to no avail. I plugged in a "normal" modem and it worked first shot.
Does anyone have any experience with these USB modems with PCAnywhere?

I wanted to change the world but God won't give me the source code.
