HP tape drive suddenly stops working

Hello everyone,

Our tape drive, HP Colorado T4000, ran the back up last night but this morning when i changed the tapes, it does not load it. It sort of tries to but does not and there is noise as there usually is noise when it loads.

I have checked the devicmanager and it says that the drive is working fine, I have restarted it also many times now but it is not recognizing any tape.

Any suggestions?.

i think you have to clean the drive by clen tape if you did that already may you need to reinstall your backup software and your driver backup if all of this does not work i think there is electromichnical problem in your tape drive
