We are currently setting up a new server and having problems with the tape drive.
The problem lies with getting the tape drive to be recognised as a logical drive. The drive is connected via a SCSI card, and neither the card or the drive show any conflicts through Device Manager. The hard drive is partitioned into 4 drives and there is also a CD drive connected - all of which are recognised. Also if we remove the tape drive and connect the second CD drive (CD Writer), that to is recognised.
The operating system being used is Small Business Server (Windows 2000).
Does anybody have any ideas of how to get the tape drive recognised through My Computer?
Thanks
