Hi all we have some HP T5735 thin client units that run Debian Linux, i'm starting to get the hang of Debian but i'm not really a Linux person (yet, hopefully that will change). I'm having trouble finding any sort of power management features so i'm assuming that i don't have the correct modules installed. Can anyone suggest what GNOME packages i should be looking for. I basically want to be able to set them to turn off when not in use as currently they just stay on forever.

I realise that this isn't really a thin client forum but the HP documentation isn't really helping.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

There should be a package called gnome-power-management in the repositories.

I seem to recall that gnome doesn't let you set a custom command for its sleep scripts though, unless that has changed.
