I am having a problem vlanning betwen a HP 2424 M Switch and a 2600 Router. I have a ip address asigned to the default vlan and one assign to vlan 2. I only want 2 vlans set up with 1-11 ports set to vlan 1 and 11-22 ports set to vlan 2 but either I am not suppose to set the vlan 2 with its own ip address or my trunking is wrong. I thought if you set your trunking on port 1 being where the router would be connected to and port 11 where my pc would be connected to which is also where I setup vlan 2 on. Using two workstation, one switch and one router. And I am trying have contact betweeen the two workstations. Does anyone know what my problem might be? And is there is any information I can get to troubleshoot?

Thanks!
