HP surestore 1/8 Autoloader and Veritas

I am using Veritas backup Exec 9.0 with a Quantum single DLT currently. I have also added the HP Autoloader to this Server. I can Initialize the Drive, I can set partitions (1 for each of the 8 tapes) But when I create a job using a partition, it loads the media, displays "drive stopped" and the Veritas software never progresses past "Loading Media"


Any help would be appreciated.

On the devices tab of backup exec, right mouse click on the library and choose enable. Sounds like you have paused the library.
