Hello,
I just started with a company and they have a win2k server with an Adaptec 3200s raid controller running 5 hard drives and one DDS tape backup drive.
They purchased an HP Q1567A external DAT72 autoloader and I have to replace the original DDS tape backup drive with this. I was reading the manual for the HP and everywhere it says DO NOT add it to a RAID controller. But the existing tape drive is running off the RAID controller, is it safe for me to add this HP DAT72 drive to the RAID controller?
