HP SIM (Compaq Insight Manager) Problems

I have installed a version control agent and management agent onto each of my servers. I have renmaed my SNMP name as well and the servers display fine in my devices window BUT under my software version status column i get the follwoing messages..

Software version status:Unknown Security Trust Issue

AND

Software version status:Unknown VC Agent Not Found

Yet i have installed the agent and configured SNMP service.

I run windows 2000 server..

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Disclaimer - This only applies if you are running the new HP Branded Insight Manager, not the older Compaq Branded one.

I ran into the same issues ~ 2 months ago and gave up after an off-the-record comment by an HP desktop support person that this was a known issue that would be fixed in the next version of HPIM.
