Hi everyone
Any info on the possibility of wipeing the Firmware on some hard disks on a HP proliant

Upgraded firmware and now seems to cause some issues with the whole server, live stated to another box without firmware update and fine so need to rollback or at least put old firmware on.

Thanks in advance

Please can you provide more information eg. server make/model, disks make/model/firmware version etc... including OS version and issues you are having since the firmware upgrade

Have you also upgraded the BIOS and RAID controller firmware at the same time? Drivers may also need upgrading via the Proliant Support Pack.

The firmware CD that is bootable (8.0 is the latest) will update everything.
