Hi, I have a P4 2.4Ghz with 512 RAM and 40GB HDD. I have install drivers and software as per instructions for my Scanjet 3770 however when I reboot and connect the scanner via USB to my system Windows XP just freezes and in unrecoverable. Also if I have the scanner connected the system will not start and just locks up at the Windows XP loading screen with the blue indicator stationary. I have checked system resources like free memory, disk space, disk deframgmentation, page file, virtual mem, MotherBoard BIOS. All other USB devices work fine like MS Mouse, Pen Drive & HP Printer. Its only the scanner that Windows freezes for. HP support have been no help so far either.
