I have upgraded to windows XP Professional and I have been unable to get my HP ScanJet 2100 to get recognized! I am thinking that it wont turn on and seen as there is no swith i dont have a clue how to do that, so that eliminates that idea. Ne helpful ideas would be greastly appreciated!

HP ScanJet 2100 wont recognize in Windows XP

Is it the 2100c or 2100cse?
You'll need to go to and download the drivers for it as the scanner didn't have support for WinXP on the included CD. I have the same and if I want in on my WinXP computer, I'll have to download the software.
