Our office just got an HP Laser jet 2727nf P/S/F combo. We have it connected to the network and everything works, except the fax from computer function. The fax setup utility will tell you that the "device is disconnected, or powered off" when you are loading the software. It prints fine, scans and saves to the computer just fine, it will send a hard copy fax from the send command on the computer, just not a soft copy. This is the main reason we bought it. To save on paper. I attached a screen shot. This also shows what happens when you open up the fax utility.
