HP recovery and loss of 2nd(aftermarket) drive

I was forced to use HP's recovery partition on a home sysyem the other day...as instructed, disconnected external peripherals.. but neglected to dics-connect 2nd (aftermarket) H.D... now, the drive is not seen in W.E., but can be seen as 120 gig drive in disk mgmt., but only a 4 gig partition ( assuming used space?). Drive also shows in Partition Magic 10,but reads bad....

Any ideas or suggestions on salvaging the drive or the data?

Is the 2nd drive an internal IDE drive? Is the drive larger than the 120GB you report? What OS did you reinstall? Did you have a product called GoBack installed prior to the recovery process?
