I have had an HP PSC 2410 installed on my XP professional computer for over a year now and just recently it has started printing and copying VERY slow almost like it is set to print at the "best" quality when it is actually set at "fast" quality. I have tried uninstalling the software and re-installing with no change. Has anyone encountered the same problem and if so, found a solution?

Have you tried connecting it to another computer to see how it operates on that? How about replacing the data cable?

Please always take the time to backup any and all data before performing any actions suggested for ANY problem, regardless of how minor a change it might seem. Also test the backup to make sure it is intact.
