HP PSC 2410 Printing very slowly like 5 minutes 1 page

Hi My PSC2410 has become very slow, it takes over 5 minute to print a page. it prints one line, then waits about 20 seconds before it prints the next line. Has anyone ever encountered this problem? Has anyone any idea why this should be happening?
