HP PSC 2175 CD LOADS 18% QUITS

I have a Compaq Ev0 310v,P1.8,512Mb Ram,XP PRO SP1. I have been trying to load "HP PSC 2175 ALL IN ONE" (usb)printer drivers. The cd load 18 % and stops no error messages. I have update the Bios, etc, from compaq. We have tested the
cd on a compaq pesario running and xp pro grade the cd
load
