HP PSC 1350 Network Printer

I am working a small office network (work group) with Win2k Pro and Win XP Home (I know) machines, Netgear Ps121 (USB)print server, HP 1350 USB printer, LinkSys router (4 port Switch) and a cable modem providing Internet access.

I can Ping the print server from all machines. I assigned a static IP xxx.xxx.x.242 to the print server. Norton's Internet Security is disabled. XP's firewall is also disabled.

XP will load the Print server's configuration managment software but I can not load the HP printer as a network printer. XP will not recognize the printer drivers nor the printer attached to the print server.

Win2k Pro will not even detect the Print Server.

What sort of compatability issues may be present?
