HP procurve configure monitor port?

I would like to Sniffer all data between the ports A1,A2,A3 and A4.

Mij Sniffer PC is on A4 and i want to see all traffic of ports A1,A2 and A3.

How do i configure?

1- telnet to the switch
2- go to confing mode:
switch> enable
switch# configure
3- define interface 4 as mirror port (This port is monitoring the monitored interfaces which are defined later)
switch(config)# mirror-port ethernet 4
4- define monitored port (the traffic of these ports is monitored by interface 4)
switch(config)#interface ethernet 1
switch(eth-1)# monitor
5- save your configuration

Hi Guys,

I have configured my switch as above, however I am not getting any information into my SysLog monitoring software?

I am trying to use Kiwi SysLog Daemon which I have installed ont a client PC coming off the monitor port of the switch. I have configured all the other ports on the switch as being monitored. When looking at the GUI interface for the switch there appears to be network traffic going down the monitor port, however nothing is appearing at the client machine! Is there any other configuration I have to do on the SysLog side?

Errr. Port mirroring isn't how one would go about consolidating syslog data...
