HP Procurve 3400cl and 6400cl stacking for multiple vlans

HI all

We recently have purchased HP 3400cl and 6400cl switches. I have stacked these. I want to create identical vlans on these switches and use 6400cl as L3 and 3400cl as l2(6400cl should do inter vlan routing for stack)
as per HP's documents we can have multiple vlans and stacking should be done in default vlan.
Is it possible to make 6400cl as a l3 for all the vlans.
