HP ProCurve 2848 - Port Mirroring

Hello,

Im trying to install a packet sniffer on my network. How do I enable port mirroring on a specific port (Example Port 28).

I tried going to Configuration - Monitor Port and still not getting a two way conversation.

Hello

You need to go to the interface command prompt of the interface you want to monitor an type in "monitor"

The go to the global configuration context and type in "mirrorport [port number]"

I think that's the right way around
