Recently, our HP networked LaserJet 2100m has started spitting out self advertisements, at a rate of about one per hour. I seem to remember reading about a fix for this problem, but can't remember where. Can anybody help?

It's probably a virus. Seems to me the bugbear virus had something to do with printing. Go to the HP site or do a Google on the problem.

Make sure the printer does not have the HP demo chip installed. A client purchased a display model from a local computer store and it did this until the demo chip was pulled, an easy procedure.
