Hi all
I have three PCs running XP on a wireless home network. Connected directly to the router is a HP 7140xi. Is it possible to either set the print server (HP Jetdirect 200m) the printer or the PCs to display a message when a print job has successfully be carried out?
Next question (Sorry)
When my laptop is connected to the network everything is fine but when I am disconnected the laptop tries to load the printer drivers and causes error messages to popup for up to ten minutes after boot up. XP then tries to send an error report and this is getting very frustrating. As the printer is a network resource I cannot set up a hardware profile which would fully resolve the problem. Does anybody know of a way of using hardware profiles on network resources?
Thanks in advance
