Hi all,

I downloaded and instaled hp jet direct application from HP website. I have no problem to config any HP printer. The default is portrait. What I need is landscape. In /etc/lp/printers/spoolname/configuration file there is an "Options" line. I put "landscape" in. When I tried to print some file, it still print in portrait.

What I dont understand is, if I specify in command line -o landscape, it did print in landscape. Anybody out there experience this problem could give me a hand, please? Or know how to enable landscape print using HPNPL application.

Thank you in advance.

regards,
feroz

Hi all,

Got it at last. My mistake. I forgot to restart the Print service. To print landscape, just add landscape in Options line and restart Print service.

Thank you.

regards,
