Hi all,
I've got a problem printing a PostScript 3 file (generated by my application according to the Adobe PostScript 3 specification) to a HP printer which has a so-called "HP Postscript 3 Emulation".
My PostScript file is fine, it opens in GhostView/GhostScript without errors or warnings, and it prints fine to e. g. Lexmark printers with PostScript 3 emulation.
I've already put a @PJL wrapper around the PostScript content, but it seems that the HP printer has problems with Type42 font subsetting (which I used to embed TrueType fonts), since a document containing only graphics without any text also prints fine on the HP.
Does "HP PostScript" miss some features here?
Thanks for any pointers.
