Has anyone had any experiences using a Photosmart printer on the VISTA platform with Adobe CS2x applications?
I have a 8750 that I WAS using on an rapidly aging XPpro+sp2 machine (using Adobe CS1) BUT migrated the 8750 over to a well muscled dula core Vista Ultimate machine and upgraded to Adobe's CS2.3 Premium DTP Suite. 3 issues developed: 1) The HP 8750 does not print anything but "Plain Paper" as a paper type - selecting another type such as semi-gloss or gloss appears briefly in the active printer windw but then dissappears. 2) error results when choosing 11x17 as 'Paper Mismatch' prints only after overriding at printer panel. 2) Rear feed no longer works. It would appear the new driver for Vista isn't ready for prime time, or doesn't agree with CS2.x, or has some sort of color managment conflict. Experiences, thoughts? We have de-installed, reinstalled, etc. Two Epson printers attached are working fine.
