If you do not know how to get into BIOS, then press and hold the key that's specified on either the 1st or 2nd startup screen to enter 'Setup' or 'CMOS'.
Once inside BIOS, you can maneuver around by using the arrow, Esc, and Enter keys.
When you find the item to disable the onboard video adapter(assuming it's present in BIOS), then simultaneously press the + - Page Up and Page Down keys until 'Disable' appears, press Esc to return to the main menu, highlight 'Save and Exit Setup'(or similar), press Enter, type Y in the warning box, and press Enter.
If there's either no option in BIOS or a MB jumper to disable the onboard video adapter, then you may be able to just install the video card, and the onboard video adapter may be automatically disabled.
