My HP 4440 was hit by a virus. I managed to repair most of the damage, but at boot, I get a complaint of page fault in QUALITY.EXE. Apparently this file is corrupted. It sits in a folder called /hp/register. I am running Win 98.

HP Tech Support has been no help.

Can anyone tell me where I can get a fresh copy of this file?

Is that file specific to any software program? If so, couldn't you just uninstall and then reinstall the software?

It might also be a good idea, since you were hit with a strong virus, to backup your data and do a fresh install in case of something else damaged you might not have caught.
