HP P1100 monitor on SGI Octane

Hi,

I need to give my Octane SI a new monitor. I have an offer for a HP P1100 21" Trinitron, but I need to be sure this monitor will work on my SGI before accepting the offer; I took a look on the net and I found very heterogeneous infos (someone told me it's ok for sync-on-green, someone told me I can't use it on SGIs, and so on). I already have the correct 13W3-to-HD15 connector so the wiring should be ok, but I wonder if someone could please tell me if this kind of monitor does support the "strange" Octane SI video output.
