My printer wastes ink on a print test every time i turn it on. It never did this until I changed the ink cartridge a couple of months ago. This is great for ink sales, but not so great for me. I have thought about just leaving it on all the time, but would rather not. This is just a smaller office printer. Really appreciate any assistance on this.

When you first turn it on, You can cancel a print job using one of the following methods:
Control panel: Press the Cancel button. This clears the job that the device is currently
processing. It does not affect jobs waiting to be processed.
Windows: Double-click the printer icon that appears in the lower-right corner of the
computer screen. Select the print job, and then press the Delete key on the keyboard.

This might straighten it out. I couldn't find an option for a start=up print page.

It could be that the print cartridges need to be aligned or the alignment got interrupted and hasn't finished.
