Hi there,
I just bought a HP officejet all in one printer/fax, etc...and I can't get my computer to detect the new hardware. I guess after installing the software, the computer should detect the new printer on restart? My USB ports are working properly because i have another device and I have checked them with it. I am operating a Compaq 5600 win98 OS. I bought a new usb cord thinking maybe the one i had was faulty, but still no go. The printer does everything it's supposed to do except print from my computer. Any thoughts?
