Hi everyone,

I'm a beginner and novice in the truest sense of the word to the pc server world. however, i have just brought 2 used HP Netserver LH Pro 200/256/(3)9.1/CD/Enet computers and must admit i don't know what i can use them for. If possible I would love to hear from folks who are still using Netserver LH Pro and for what purposes.

Thanks !!

Zerimage,
I think the reason you're not getting any answers is because no one is familiar with your needs. It is like asking "I've just bought a 1997 Honda Civic, where should I drive it?" The specs you give are common older low-end server specs, it should do fine for any kind of teaching/lab environment, but for a production environment I'd keep them for something not requiring much processing power, such as a little-used webserver or a DNS server.

thanks, steve. your comparsion to the Honda was very helpful to me. I probably need to sned more ime thinking about what i want to do with it, then use this forum to find out 1.) if its possible using the netserver, and 2.) the best way to do it.
