Hi guys,
I have a just finished configuring my new HP MSA 2000i enclosure, complete with about 5TB of storage capacity that I have carved up into smaller volumes. On these volumes are my VMs.
What I'm trying to do is use the snap shot scheduler service to great effect. I have created a snap pool and the volumes that I want to snap shot are master volumes. I can get the snap shot schedule to work, but it does not for some reason place place the snap shots in the snap pool? The snap shots are actually placed in the volume menu, along with all the other volumes that I have created.
Any ideas where I am going wrong? If I do click on a volume and look at the properties of that volume it does say it is associated to the snap pool.
i'm pulling my hair out :-(
