HP StorageWorks MPX 110 IP Distance Gateway.
We currently have 6 MPX 110s in 3 locations, that connect over 100MB EoSDH links connected to a Cisco 7201 in a triangle fashion. One port on each MPX talks to one port at the other location.
Location 1 has 2 MPX's with all 4 GE ports connected to a 3750X stack.
Location 2 has 1 MPX on a 3560 and another MPX on a directly connected 3560.
Location 3 has 2 MPX with a port on a Nexus 7000 FEX and 1 on a Nexus 5500 FEX
The following issues started a month ago and not changes have been made to the location 3 Network. Minor changes have been made in location 1 and 2 but nothing directly impacting the MPX's.
Location 1, both MPX's GE ports are stable the only issue is the FCIP session to location 2 is down.
Location 2, MPX 1 is stable but MPX 2 both GE's across both switchs disconnect simultaneously every 3 to 4 minutes.
Location 3, Both MPX GE ports and Management ports, reset. All ports fail at the same time but when they come back the Management port is first and then the GE's. The GE's have intermintent pings when a ping -t is done. THE FCIP session do establish but fail.
All MPX's are on the latest firmware and the flapping moves when the GE ports are moved to different switches and/or ports.
The Cisco switches in Location 2 and 3 show the interfaces going down and then back up again and the GE ports are fixed at 1000MB FULL DUPLEX. It is also noted that there are no current complaints or issues arround WAN LAN perfromance.
HP have not been very responsive and any guidence would really be apprciated.
