HP LJ4050TN tray problem

Hi,

I've got a 4050TN that is refusing to print to one of the trays. The user selects the tray, however the printer goes straight to a different tray. No error message appears. I have deleted and re-added the printer with both old and the latest printer driver and it doesn't make a difference. Have also tried printing directly to the port rather than through the server, still nothing. When you print a test page it goes to the tray that the user wants to print from. The user is running windows 95.

A rather frustrating problem >:-<

Anyone have any ideas? Would welcome them. Thanks

When you go to print and then properties, you should be able to select the correct tray from there. If the wrong tray is selected then the printer will ask if it can use the other tray.

Thanks penybont, I have already tried making the default the tray the user wishes to use but it doesn't make a difference. Any other suggestions?
