I've got an HPLJ 8150 that I'm trying to preform the maintenance on. I replaced the basic pickup and transfer rollers, but in the kit (from another website - which I can't get answers from) there is a lower sleeved roller and some sort of other large diameter roller (upper sleeved roller - maybe?). I'm sure they go inside in the fuser unit. I'm just not sure how to get the fuser apart to replace these rollers.

Any help would be great and pictures would be even better!!

Thanks in advanced

I know what happened. Instead of sending you the whole fuser, they sent you the heat and pressure rollers that go in the fuser. I would yank all your parts out, and send them back to the company you got them from with a nasty letter. If they refuse, which they probably will, then I would deny the charges on the credit card (you did order it with a credit card, right?) Then go to and see what kind of kit they have. Depending on your location, we could ship you a maintenance kit with a quality rebuilt fuser for a better price than OEM. Good Luck!!!

Have a nice day today, and a better day tomorrow!!!

where did you get this kit from cclv?

my company always gets our stuff from cdw or direct from hp

I got the kit from a local vendor ... I'm sending the rollers back to get a fuser ... Thanks for the help everyone.
