HI Folks!

I have just installed the maintenance kit for the HP 8000 at a school and everything went fine.
When i printed a test page that printed fine too.
But the test page came out, the printer chucked a blank sheet out which got stuck halfway, and i had to pull it out. A teacher told me that this has been happening all the time lately. I gave it a little clean and printed another test page but the same thing happened.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
And how can i solve it?

Thanx for any help.

Check your tray settings and paper guides. Check the clutches (torque limiters) that they are firmily in place and engaging the rollers.

Sounds like a paper size issue. If the paper is coming partly out then jamming, check the paper tray for the correct paper size. Try switching with another tray and see if that resolves your issue. Also, I would try setting the factory defaults on everything. Make sure you copy the setting down if you need them, i.e. ip address.
