I have created a report using crystal reports using an open-type font called Locator (I have to use this font). In sections of the report, the font color is black while in others, it is white where the font is on top of color. When I send this to print on our Laserjet 4700, the black font prints fine, but the white font doesn't print at all. To troubleshoot, I installed the latest printer firmware which didn't resolve the issue. I tried printing this font in various colors in another program and everything worked fine. Then I sent the report to our LaserJet 4250 and everything printed fine which leads me to believe there is still an issue with the 4700. Has anyone had a similar issue? If so, what is the resolution? I also tried installing a post-script driver yesterday, but doubt that it installed correctly. I got instructions from an hp representative, but what he had me do really didn't seem right. Anyway, and help would be greatly appreciated.
