Hi,

We're having multiple issues with some laserjet 4300 and 4350's. One of the strangest is that occasionally the user will print a document from word which prints all squashed in to the top left corner. Basically the document they have printed is faithfully reproduced in thumbnail size in the corner. I think I've seen this somewhere before but it has been an incorrect printer driver. This printer is using the 4300 PCL 6 driver printing through a queue set up on a Windows 2000 server.

The user closes Word, reopens it and then printing works as normal. I think they're using a macro to print to different trays but can't see how it would cause this issue.

Any Ideas???

Possible, I would check the print setting. I have seen the Print Style get changed from Memo Style. Verify when they print they are printing in memo style. Also chek the scaling and "Print what" settings as well verify no scaling and "print what" is set to document.
