Hi

We have 6 LaserJet 4300 printers in our offices. Each has a different type of paper in each of the four paper trays. White paper is in tray 4 and letterhead is in tray 1.

We have two issues. firstly each time the tray 1/manual feed runs out of paper and gets re-filled it asks users to confirm the paper size and type. No problem but usually a few buttons are pressed by users and the type is changed from letterhead to something else (usually plain) and then many documents start printing to letterhead as the first plain tray.

Secondly when some documents are printed which are not A4 for example A5 the printer prompts to manual feed A5 or some other size. Again user presses a few buttons gets their item printed on letterhead, again then letterhead is set to plain and we have problems.

How can I stop the first prompt when the paper is refilled and set the printer up to default to tray 4 and print on A4 whatever the document size without any on-screen prompt.

Kind regards
Simon
