HP LaserJet 4000 Won't Print

Laserjet 4000N network printer

Display says "processing" briefly then goes away. Nothing prints. Anyone have experience with this?

Check the status of the parallel port in BIOS. the Laser Jet may require a different setting.

Check the status of the JetDirect card by making a configpage on the printer from the control panel. Compare settings with the ones in your driver install.
